ZURICH - De politie van Basel gaat streng optreden om het wild plassen en poepen terug te dringen. De 800 mobiele toiletten in de Zwitserse stad kunnen de massale toeloop niet aan.
Daardoor doen duizenden voetbalsupporters overal en nergens hun behoefte en dat leidt tot ongekende stank in de straten van het centrum.
Veel inwoners van de oude binnenstad van Basel hebben mede daardoor hun buik nu al vol van het EK voetbal. Ze missen de frisse lucht in hun woonplaats.
Van de boete die de politie aan wildplassers oplegt zullen de meeste fans echter niet schrikken: 31 euro.
